The inaugural “Liekie Steyn Memorial” golf day was held at St Cathryns on Saturday 25 June 2022. 32 players braved the cold to play in a fun format. Liekie was an integral part of St Cathryns and I’m sure she would have been so excited to see so many ladies playing at St Cathryns. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes.

The winners on the day were Tubby Larkan, John-Lloyd Rawstorne, Dawie Pieterse and Linda Pieterse on 135 points,
2nd was the Gifford family of Troy, Josh, Liam and Astrid on 134 points and
3rd place went to Paul, Matt and Brigitte du Preez and Andre Liddemore on 126 points.

Thank you to Piet and his staff, Gary for the halfway and everything else he always does. Lastly thank you to Cathy for making Liekie’s legendary custard slices.
