As the saying goes “like a duck to water”… well not these ducks. Instead of enjoying the dam that is almost 100% full, after the last four years of drought – these geese are enjoying lockdown on the third green. The scarecrow built to chase the Spurwing and Egyptian geese off the third green has had limited effect, so back to the drawing board. Mothballs have been added to the holes, that were repaired with sand dressing and Jeys’ fluid has been sprayed on the area around the green as a repellant.

We are hoping that the Lockdown could be relaxed for golf courses in the near future (Golf SA has had a meeting with the relevant Minister) – and when that happens, we look forward to seeing all the golfers again. We are having Beautiful Autumn weather – perfect for golf.
