The 9th annual Arcadia Golf weekend was held on 20 & 21 May 2023. The players tee’d off on Saturday at St Cathryn’s at 10:00 on a chilly but sunny day which was a relief after last year’s miserable weather.
The winners of Day One were Sydney Russell & Dieter Meyer on 45 points counting out Maine & Lushan Estherhuizen who secured second place, third place on 42 points were Nico & Tristan Schneider.
The players played Day Two at Greytown in very pleasant weather. Unfortunately Maine & Lushan had to withdraw due to illness giving Sydney & Dieter a bit of breathing room.
Day 2 was won by Mike Hayes & Stuart Ringo (Riverside) on 50 points.
Sydney & Dieter scored 41 points on day 2 which was just enough to secure the overall win by counting out Mike and Ringo.
